Privacy Statement

The Walnut Hill School (“Walnut Hill”) and iModules Software, Inc. (collectively, with Walnut Hill,  referred to as the “Administrators”) have created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate their firm commitment to privacy and to describe their practices for gathering and disseminating information collected from users of this web site (the “Site”).

1.      Cookies.  The Site uses cookies to recognize you and allow you to automatically log in without re-entering your user name and password each time you visit the Site.  The cookies are encrypted and do not save any personally identifiable information about you, such as your user name, password or e-mail address.  If cookies are disabled in your browser, you can still use the Site but you will be required to enter your password each time you visit.

2.      Personally Identifiable Information.  The Site’s registration form requires you to provide your full name, address, e-mail address, password, gender, city, state, county and zip code.  You may also choose to provide optional details, such as maiden name, nickname, birthday, occupation, company, spouse’s name, photos, ICQ number, personal web page URL or personal comments.  You may update this information at any time by accessing your profile by clicking the “edit personal info” link in the navigation menu.  You may opt out of receiving e-mail updates from us (please see Section 5 below).

3.      Personal Profile Information and Profile Page.  Your Personal Profile features information you may wish to share with other site members on your Profile Page.  Only people who are members of this site can view other members’ Profile Pages.  The only information that is automatically displayed on your Profile Page is your first and last name.  Additional information fields from your Personal Profile information, including comments and other personal information and photos you choose to share, will appear only if you have opted to provide those items and have also selected to have those fields in your Profile Page View.  All member information on the Site is stored as described in this Privacy Statement and is not sold or transferred to any third parties except as described herein.

4.      Credit Card Transactions.  Some features of the Site may enable credit card transactions.  These features are completely voluntary to members, and may include the purchasing of tickets or merchandise through event stores and the submission of donations through the Site.  Measures have been taken to enhance the security of such transactions for members of the Site.

The Site uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) servers to encrypt your personal information and help prevent unauthorized access.  In addition, the Site participates in the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Seal Program to further enhance the security of your transactions.  Bank of America processes the online transactions.

Shortly after a purchase or refund is processed, you will receive a confirmation via e-mail.  You should print out and save a copy of the order confirmation for verification as necessary to request refunds or resolve any disputes.

Should any unauthorized charges be made to your card as a result of your credit card transactions with the Site using the SSL servers, the Fair Credit Billing Act specifies that your credit card company cannot hold you responsible for more than $50.00 of unauthorized transactions.  If your credit card company requires you to pay any portion of the $50.00, the Administrators will cover the entire liability for you, up to the full $50.00, provided that such unauthorized charges resulted through no fault of your own.  In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, promptly notify your credit card company according to the procedures described in your credit card agreement.

5.      Choice/Opt-Out.  The Site provides you with the opportunity to choose to receive updates about the Site, about the groups you are registered with, and when fellow members sign up or change their information.  This option will be presented to you when you register as a member.  If you have already registered as a member and would like to receive these updates or change the frequency with which they are sent to you, click on the “edit personal info” link and scroll down to the “Stay in Touch” section to select the frequency.  Please be aware that even if you choose not to receive the e-mail updates, if a situation arises that we feel you should be aware of, we will contact you by e-mail to alert you.

6.      Public Forums.  The Site makes chat rooms and message boards available for every community group featured on the Site.  Your first and last name will be displayed during chat sessions and when you post in the message boards.  Any additional information you choose to submit in these areas is considered public.  To protect yourself from unwanted spam or other unsolicited or unwanted communications, you are advised against providing personally identifiable information, including e-mail addresses, postal addresses and phone numbers.  The Administrators do not monitor the chat rooms, but may do so at their option.

7.      Links to Other Sites.  The Site contains links to other sites administered by third parties.  The Administrators are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third party sites; you should read the policies posted on such third party sites before using them.

Updates to the Privacy Statement.  The Site reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time without notice.  The Administrators will post any such modified Privacy Statement on the main page of the Site.  Furthermore, the Administrators will notify you by e-mail if the Privacy Statement is modified with respect to the Administrators’ use of your personally identifiable information.  If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Statement, please contact Customer Support.
